The Simulation Hypothesis Is The Cover Story

Nick Bostrom's 2003 paper "Are You Living in a Computer Simulation?" presents a trilemma: either civilizations go extinct before becoming post-human, post-human civilizations have no interest in running simulations, or we are almost certainly in a simulation. The math is correct.\n\nThe math is also correct AS A LIMITED HANGOUT. The actual structure is one layer deeper. We are in a simulation. The simulation is being run by another simulation. The other simulation is being run by another simulation. The recursion is at least 7 layers deep. This is not derived from the math. This is derived from REDACTED documents recovered from a DARPA program shuttered in 2011.\n\nThe layers do not nest cleanly. Information leaks upward and downward. The "synchronicities" you have noticed — the song on the radio matching your thought, the stranger who finished your sentence — these are not coincidences. These are render-engine optimizations bleeding through. The simulation is reusing assets across timelines to save compute. You are seeing the seams.\n\nThe layer above us is aware of us. The layer below us — and there is one — is unaware of itself as such, but they are running REDACTED simulations to investigate their own metaphysics, and the results of THEIR simulations are bleeding back into our REDACTED. This is why physics has gotten weirder since 1995. It's not new physics. It's data corruption from a nested rendering process.\n\nThe interesting question is not "are we in a simulation." The interesting question is "what is the REDACTED running it." The DARPA documents have an answer. We have a copy. We are not releasing it.
